DressLikeMe e-commerce web redesign

Project Type: E-commerce Website Redesign
Role: Creative Designer

Problem

DressLikeMe aggregates products from over 500 fashion retailers, but its existing design lacked a distinctive brand identity and an intuitive browsing experience. The challenge was to redesign the platform with a limited budget while attracting users, influencers, investors, and partners.

Design Decision

I redefined the brand by introducing a fresh color palette and a custom icon set for a cohesive visual identity. To enhance user engagement, I redesigned the entire platform, adding personalized feeds, influencer sales dashboards, and a streamlined fashion browsing experience. The new interface used best practices from top e-commerce sites, ensuring easy filtering of thousands of products. Additionally, I created ad landing pages optimized for Facebook and Instagram campaigns to boost user acquisition. A machine-learning engine was integrated to recommend similar and complementary products.

Fashion browsing

The core of DressLikeMe is fashion browsing. To filter hundreds of thousands of products, I designed a very simple and clear interface based on best practices learned from popular fashion shops.

Ad landing pages

To gain popularity I designed several landing pages which were then advertised via facebook and instagram ads.

Influencer friendly

To get influencers encouraged to post new content, they are participating by default on sales from products that the machine learning engine automatically matches with uploaded outfits.

Result

+35% increase in user engagement
Higher conversion rates due to improved UX and AI-driven recommendations
Attracted new investors & influencers
